This weekend starts the 11th Annual Holiday Light Show in Wall and it’s more than just lights. It’s music, food and of course Santa will be in attendance. The show has been a local favorite for the past 10 years, and this year will be no exception.
Over 12,000 people will attend the shows which will be held on December 10th, 11th and the 17th and start at 6:30 and 8:30 each night. Organizers advise visitors to come 30-40 minutes early, and parking is available in the North Wall Little League field at 2744 Belmar Blvd in Wall. It’s a 10-minute walk to the show along a path that is monitored by police.
Organizers said this years show will be even better since they designed new effects and fine tuned some visitor favorites. Event organizer Dan Brateris said, “it’s more than just Christmas lights. It’s like going to a rock show” While the show is free for everyone to enjoy, visitors are encouraged to make a donation which goes to charity. Last year, $19,000 was donated.
